to Brian, Peter, and all -

Tomorrow being the celebration for EarthDay, it
is certainly fitting to explore, enjoy, or enhance a trail. You can also
help trails by tabling.

As it turns out, There are two specific opportunities...

One is at Thorntown, celebrating the Keewasakee Trail and Sugar Creek and
Boone County trail initiatives. Later morning into afternoon. Thorntown is
just west of Route 52, a few miles north of Lebanon, and roughly midways
between Indpls and Lafayette. HRTC is helping FREINDS OF BOONE COUNTY TRAILS
to advocate, educate, promote, and otherwise cheer the trail efforts in
Boone Co. Other groups promoting EarthDay, the environment, and family
activities will be in Thorntown. Check out http://ibccn.org/trails/

Two is at the Legion Mall in Downtown Indpls. ITF and HRTC will have a booth
between Meridian, North, and Pennsylvania Streets in the largest statewide
event organized by Earth Day Indiana, from 11:00 to 4:00. We have been a
part of this for many years (10?). If you want to help at booth, come by at
any time during event.

If you want to walk on a downtown trail or sidewalk, beginning at about
4:45, come by booth area. Booth will be taken away by then. We can have
dinner after walk.
