Subject: 2nd Urban Planning Scholar Lecture - Public Health and the
Built Environment
Dear Shoup-Lecture Attendees,
The next Urban Planning Scholar lecturer will be Lawrence D. Frank,
PhD, co-author of:
* Urban Sprawl and Public Health, and
* Public Health and Community Design, The Impacts of The Built
Environment on Physical Activity.
July 10th in Indianapolis and Bloomington
(http://www.mchd.com/2071PostCard.pdf)
Together with our community partners, the Marion County Health
Department is excited to bring Dr. Frank to Indianapolis to share his
many years of experience and research on these important topics. We
think this lecture will initiate more dialogue on strategies to create
safe and inviting environments for physical activity as part of
day-to-day life. I hope you are able to attend.
Laurence Brown
