I think it is great the Governor is paying attention the trail needs of hikers
and bikers all across the state. I applaud him for his concern and attention
given to the issue.

Talk is cheap.  As trail users we need to keep our eye on the goal, and we
need to gently remind our state legislators that some trail funding increases
would be very much appreciated, very popular, and are very necessary.

Between now and November would be a good time to contact your State Senatorial
candidates, and your State Representative candidates and ask them how they
feel about the Indiana trail system and what, specifically, would they like to
do to make it happen.  Remember, be pleasant.
