Trail Development Manager, Midwest Region

 

Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit trails & greenways
organization, seeks a Trail Development Manager for the Midwest (near
Columbus, OH) to support communities in their trail planning efforts by
providing technical assistance, conducting public outreach & training
workshops, and building relationships with local agencies, stakeholders,
and allied organizations in the recreation, alternative transportation,
health and conservation fields. Excellent writing & speaking skills and
time & budget mgt.; ability to build coalitions among diverse
constituencies. Qualifications: four-year college degree in urban/
regional planning, land use management, parks/recreation, alternative
transportation or related field plus 2-4 years related experience.
