[IndianaTrails] New Brown County Mountain Biking Web Site Launched

Greetings and Happy Holidays!

 

Even though the trails are wet and cold the Hoosier Mountain Bike
Association is still busy designing, building, and promoting mountain biking
and trails all over the state.  Our trail building project at Brown County
State Park is moving along very quickly as we are in the midst of the
construction phase our $187,500 RTP grant project.  Our trail mileage at the
park is now approaching 20 miles!  Next season the Nashville community and
Brown County region will be pleasantly surprised at the impact that these
trails will have on businesses and the community.  Bike Magazine, one of the
leading mountain bike magazines in the world, will run an article and photos
in their next issue about the new trails in Brown County.  The buzz has
begun and the mountain biking, hiking, and trail-running visitors will
follow.

 

In anticipation of this influx of new visitors, the HMBA has designed and
built a new tourism-centric web site to serve as the source for information
about mountain biking in Brown County and the surrounding areas.  It is

If anyone is able to provide links to this resource on web sites, blogs, or
message boards we would certainly appreciate it.  Please email the link to
others that might be interested.  As we all know, mountain bikers and other
trail users that can easily find good, reliable information are much more
likely to come to the area and spend money!
