INDEPENDENT TRAILS ADVOCACY BOARD RISES  FROM ASHES OF TRAILS ADVISORY BOARD  
After the Greenwood, IN Parks Department dissolved the 3 year old Trails  
Advisory Board (along with all its other citizen advisory groups), specific  
members decided to stick together as an independent advocacy group.   Past 
members, and new citizens,  have also joined them to continue the efforts that have 
led to a successful  trails program in Greenwood.  
The newly formed independent Trails Advocacy Board will  meet the 4th 
Thursday of each month (some exceptions during holiday  season), at 6pm, at the 
Greenwood Public Library on Madison Avenue.  All members of the public are welcome 
to  participate.   
One of the group’s first tasks was to create a functioning website where  we 
can keep you informed on all matters related to local trails.  There you will 
find a meeting schedule,  meeting Agendas, meetings Minutes, archival 
documents, related newspaper  articles, maps and more. Content there will continue to 
grow, but we have a good  start, thanks to webmaster Thane Morgan.  Please
