[IndianaTrails] upcoming trail related events

Greetings!
 
National Trails Day is coming up fast on Saturday, June 2nd.  I am
pleased to report, the last time I checked, Indiana had more events
scheduled than any surrounding state.  To search for an event in your
area or to list an event, go to the American Hiking Society's website at
www.americanhiking.org.  Governor Mitch Daniels has proclaimed June 2nd
as Trails Day in Indiana.  A copy of the proclamation is posted on the
DNR website at www.in.gov/dnr/outdoor/news.  Hope you all get out and
participate in some way!
 
Following is a listing of other trail related events of state, regional
and national significance.  Those of you involved with rail-trail and
river greenway development should especially note the addition of the
November 8th workshop in Peru, Indiana.
