Indianapolis.  Please note that there has been a room change for the

Indiana Brownfields Program Trails and Parks Initiative Workshop

Please join us for a workshop to introduce the new Indiana Brownfields
Program Trails and Parks Initiative (TPI) on November 9 at 2:00 PM in
downtown Indianapolis.  (See attached for general information about the
initiative.)   This event is intended to help potential TPI applicants
(nonprofit organizations and local units of government) learn more about
brownfields and TPI and prepare for the upcoming December 3 application
deadline.  
 
The workshop is free, but space is limited.  To register, please send

Workshop topics to be covered include:

*	What are brownfields and how do they relate to trails and parks
projects? 
*	What are Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments? 
*	Overview of the TPI application process  
*	Overview of the TPI guidelines and selection criteria 
*	Post assessment activities - What to expect if contamination is
