assessment awards, the Indiana Brownfields Program Trails and Parks Initiative
(TPI) was developed with its first <FONT color=black><SPAN

of a<FONT color=black><SPAN style="COLOR: black"> second round of TPI
applications that was anticipated to be </SPAN></FONT>in summer 2008, rolling
applications will be implemented with no application deadline.

offers Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments to eligible

non-profit organizations <FONT color=black><SPAN style="COLOR: black">for
eligible brownfield sites with trails, parks, or other greenspace/recreational
reuse planned. Different from the other financial incentives through
the Indiana Brownfields Program, a</SPAN></FONT>pplicants will not receive
monies directly; program-contracted consultants will perform assessments for the

<P class=ArticleBody>Every two years, American Trails presents the National
Trails Awards to recognize the tremendous contributions of volunteers,
professionals, businesses, and other leaders who are working to create a
national system of trails for all Americans. Nominations should cover
accomplishments during the period of June 1, 2006 through May 31, 2008. The
awards will be presented on November 17 during the Awards Banquet at the
National Trails Symposium. The 14 categories for awards are:</P>
